  1. Earth Day every day!

    Someday I will live in a handbuilt home off the grid and grow my own food.
    For today, I will use the low flow shower head, avoid chemicals, compost, recycle, boycott consumerism, garden, catch rain water to water plants, and turn off the computer and the lights when I leave the room!
    As if to help me be a good earthling, my old car just died, so now I will share with my daughter. That means I will do my part by staying home!

  2. Exercise day 3

    Alright, this could get tedious, but as dull as it seems, posting my exercise here
    is motivating me!
    I did it 3 days in a row!
    elliptical trainer 30 minutes
    yoga 10 minutes

    I must add that I made Alissa's Indian Style Spinach Dip.
    Why did I wait so long! I couldn't even dip vegies in it. It was soooo good that I just ate it with a spoon. A whole huge bunch of spinach!!
    I think I'll have it again tomorrow!

  3. Exercise day 2

    Yippppeeee! I did it twice in a row!
    elliptical trainer for 30 minutes
    Yoga 20 minutes

    I'm weaning myself off the scale habit. This is because I always gain weight when I begin to exercise which makes me want to stop. Therefor, since I know exercise will help me lose weight in the long run, the scale is hibernating for a while. How long does it take to form a new habit? This elliptical trainer is still not a bit fun for me. I will do it anyway!!!

  4. I will try to exercise, I promise

    Okay, I have a plan to get my lazy little self to exercise. I'm gonna post my exercise here when I do it. It sounds like a good idea right now cuz I just exercised!;) I hope it seems like a good idea again tomorrow!

    April 16th:
    30 minutes on the elliptical trainer (ugg. this is still a challenge)
    15 minutes in the hoop
    15 minutes of yoga

  5. a little update

    I am a bad blogger! It has been 3 weeks since I blogged! I've been busy, but with just life. No great excitement. I am still all raw, still feeling good and still losing weight, although slower than I wish! I've lost 35 pounds now. A dear friend of mine will be married in June and I hope to be near my goal by then. I am embarrassed to say that I haven't been exercising as I had hoped. I've been doing some exercise about 4 times a week and I've been doing a bit more yoga. I am working on increasing ...
