I know the feeling!!! My favorite quick fix when I feel like that is chopped up broccoli or cauliflower, tomatoes, other veggies that I have on hand, etc. and mush an avocado into all of it to make it really mushy! Then I add whatever "taste" sounds good. Italian herbs or spicy stuff or soy sauce/tamari for an asian taste!
    Have fun on your run!!!

Hang in there, I know it can be difficult. I agree that overeating is overeating whether raw or SAD but don't be hard on yourself it will get easier. Have you thought of some activities to do in place of the cravings?

you could also make fudge balls to take with you to work to snack on. they are quick and easy to transport!

I really enjoy bowling too! We have one bowling alley on the island and it's about 1 hour away -- and always PACKED!!! you'd definitely have a hard time finding open lanes on either side of you!! ;)

I agree! Sometimes we forget to just have a few of the heavier things.
I have some soaked Almonds that I dried in the dehydrator and than dipped them in RAW COCoa mixed with RAW Agave & rolled them in coconut shreds... If I am not careful I will eat them all tonight! Thanks for the reminder!! HUGS&PEACE Carrassa

OOO... love the new avatar pic!!! I'm excited for the warm weather too!!! I think the only thing so far that I didn't survive so well was when I overate baby carrots and almond butter... OMG... I couldn't even LOOK at another baby carrot for MONTHS!!!

Of course you can get back on track. Dates and nuts are still better than a bag of cheetos (a former food group in my life). Stay strong girl!

The first thing I thought was yeah 2 weeks in an exotic place sounds great until you get malaria. I've never had cooked deserts as good as raw. The super candy ~ amazing. Cheezecake - better than cooked. No worries about the over-do, life IS too short for worries.

You didn't fail - you are right. During this journey - it is important to do everything with wisdom and make all of our decisions based on what is OVER ALL best for us -- sometimes 'sticking to a fast for __ days' isn't always the best thing for us... so using wisdom is always to be commended! Rawk on lil Amanda... you are AMAZING girl... January is going to be an awesome month for you!! ;)
