  1. Day 5

    So today I had to dodge an invite to go out tonight with some friends.
    I know there will be food and drinking involved, and *s i g h* I guess I'm not ready for that yet.

    I just read about a delicious bread recipe. I'm going to try that today! I'm starting to miss bread! One food that I keep thinking about is Jimmy John's sandwiches. I need to snap out of it!

  2. Day 4

    Woo Hoo! I'm onto Day 5!

    I know I'm going to regret saying this *knocks on wood* but this seems to be getting easier! Sure I sometimes want some real pasta/bread, but then I get on here and look for recipes and... voila!



    So yesterday I tried some new things...

    1) I bought a dehydrator (nothing fancy, but it seems to do the job)

  3. Day 3

    So 3 days are under my belt...

    I felt much better yesterday about how much I ate, so thanks for the support on that!!
    In hindsight, everything I ate was WAY better than what I've been eating in the past.

    I slept in today.
    I was really tired.
    In fact, I don't really feel like doing much of anything today.
    Blah is the term.
    I hope this is just part of the detox, because I don't normally get like this.

  4. Day 2

    Day 2 is complete!!!

    The good...
    This morning I woke up without a headache, so that is good.

    I noticed that I have been going to the bathroom much more (#1) - but not so much for #2

    I also noticed that I had more energy throughout the day! Usually I get up when my husband leaves for work and then snooze until 8 or 9am. The past two days I've been up at 7am, BEFORE he leaves!!!! That is an awesome feeling! I just gained 2 hours to my ...

  5. Day 1

    I've completed my first day of going Raw. It was pretty simple.

    However, I was a little hungry at times (mostly in the pm) so I munched on some veggies. I didn't have any cravings for "other" foods. With that I'm very excited! :)

    I did wake up with a little headache this morning. It just feels like I didn't get enough sleep. I know I did, so this must be one of the detox symptoms. Is it wierd that I'm glad I have a slight headache? This way I know
