  1. Detox - Day 2

    Day two of my detox and it is MMUUUUCH better than yesterday, I tell you. I think what helped me is that instead of drinking the "lemonade" warm like it says, I drink it cold or at least cool. I think it helps the taste and helps to mellow out the heat of the cayenne pepper.

    And OMG, this detox came right on time b/c normally if I have sienna leaf tea before bed, I'm up bright and early the next morning in the bathroom "taking care of business" but when I drank ...

  2. Good Lookin' Out!

    It's so wonderful to know that God is looking out for me. Yesterday I had to run an errand at lunch that I knew would take my entire lunch hour if not a few minutes more but I didn't factor in the pouring down rain. I had planned to get a salad for lunch but with the rain and the traffic, my first plan to get my favorite salad from Boston Market was a bust. So I'm driving down the highway in the rain, texting Google 411 on my phone to get the location of another Boston Market that might be on ...

    OMG...OMG...OMG....did NOT know it would be this challenging. I think I fooled myself into thinking that I could just turn away from a 30+ year habit overnight without a hiccup or constant focus and motivation.

    What is so ridiculous and frustrating is that I've done it before!! Not going raw but changing the way that I ate, that's how I lost 83 pounds. I'm trying to remember what kept me focused and motivated but it's like a dream...I don't even remember going through that period. ...

    OMG...OMG...OMG....did NOT know it would be this challenging. I think I fooled myself into thinking that I could just turn away from a 30+ year habit overnight without a hiccup or constant focus and motivation.
