It's been a long day. The house is still quiet because bf is away camping - he is back tomorrow which I am looking forward to.

Outside, the sun is shining, the sky is almost cloudless and a blackbird is singing.

Tomorrow (25th May) would have been my father's 78th birthday. It is strange to think he has been gone almost 18 years ...that's nearly half my life!

I think of him often especially when I am tending my sprouts or working in the garden.

tomatoes. Sliced, with a little sea salt or raw dressing. A huge plateful. Just so.

I have none in the house.

Do I go out to a shop and get some or shall I wait til morning?

Ack! I think I will pop to the corner shop.

This evening I am eating a few nuts. They feel nice in my mouth and they are quite comforting taste-wise.

Otherwise I have eaten only fruits and a couple of carrots today.

Need to eat more greens. Must try harder!

Pleased to say that I am still going strong. Had a little wobble of thought yesterday on the subject of bread. I overcame the wobble quite quickly.

I would like to find a source of raw olives. I suppose it is possible to find them somewhere.

Sprouts are sprouting, veggies are growing, the fridge is full of raw goodies and all is well with my world

I have spent a lot of time outside with the girls today. They are very good listeners and as long as you don't go in bare feet or flip-flops they don't peck your toes thinking they are worms!

I have the house to myself as the bf has gone off for a few days camping.

It is really, really quiet - I can almost hear the sound of sprouting seeds in the kitchen.
