  1. 30 day Challenge

    So yesterday was my day 30 because I started a day early!

    I have stayed 100% raw in that time with the exception of a couple of vitamin pills and probably some of the nuts I ate at the start were not actually raw.

    I have had no cooked foods, no animal-based foods, no dehydrated foods. I have just eaten fresh fruits and veg plus lots of sprouted seeds. I have had a couple of juices but no smoothies. I have not really had cravings for cooked foods although I did have a wobble ...

  2. 100g sea veg @ twice the price

    My local healthfood store had a bag of sea veg which I absent-minded picked up while browsing. When I got to the til the bill for 1 small bag brown rice (for sprouting) and the sea veg came to £11 and something pence.

    It turned out the sea veg was over £9.00. I got the assistant to put it back. That is twice the price that the same product costs online. I live a short drive from the sea where I can pick various sea veg ... I shall be doing that tomorow!

  3. Not sweating the small stuff ... ?

    I understand the concept of not sweating the small stuff. There are a few things that you let pass because it makes life easier and the amount of your diet that it makes up percentage-wise is negligible.

    I don't understand the number of recipes here and across the raw network that seem to just allow nuts generally (we all know how hard they are to get truly raw), especially when the recipe it makes involves several cups at a go.

  4. Florence Fennel ...

    I made a salad using florence fennel instead of shredded cabbage today. I also added french beans and broccoli as well as the usual suspects such as bean sprouts, spring onion, celery etc.

    For some reason I forgot to add tomatoes! Unheard of for me lol

    It looks as though I will have lost 21 pounds by the end of May; some of my clothes are hanging off me and my face is definitely slimmer.

    My finger nails are long and strong and I am hoping that those few ...
