  1. Ever find you forget how much weight you've lost?

    I have to check my ticker most times just to make sure I'm not dreaming it!

    The rest of the week will be a high exercise time for me as I will be cycling to and from work whereas I was only cycling home before.

    We have a bank holiday coming up at the beginning of next week so I have a few days off either side so I'm looking forward to a nice gentle holiday at home pottering in the garden and taking the dog for long walks.

  2. Day 114:- Bananas . . .

    This time round on raw I have hardly eaten any bananas. Money is tight so I am looking at using more of them and had forgotten just how cheap they are. This week and at least until pay day I think I will be using quite a lot of them.

    I think I can get by on almost no money as I have nuts and seeds in the house and some veggies/greens in the garden. Oh but I hate having to scrimp and save!

    Something I must do starting asap but probably not til next month is make stuff to ...

  3. Going Head to Head with a Cheese Sandwich

    Real cheese. Real bread. Real temptation.

    This is horrid! I've had orange juice and there are two mangoes downstairs which I will eat before I give in to the sandwich.

    Arrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  4. Degrees of Raw

    I am often surprised at how people calculate their % raw.

    I like to think of myself as 100% raw but in reality, once I add in the small amount of cider vinegar, nama shoyou, dried spices that I have either daily or occasionally, I suppose I am about 95% raw.

    If I have cashews, which I do occasionally then I suppose this level drops a bit but I'm ok with that on an occasional basis.

    How do others actually arrive at a definition of high raw when they eat overtly ...

    I'm feeling very comfortable with the raw food and can even cope ok with an emptying fridge without panicking that there is nothing to eat!

    I think I may have gained a pound or so this last week. I haven't been cycling or hooping as much as previously but I have been eating the same sort of amounts of nuts etc so I'm going to try to be a bit more simple in my eating this week.

    When making nut pates it is possible to eat very much more in the way of nuts than if eating them ...
