    They are large and not expensive in the UK. I think they mostly come from Spain.

    that's how it tasted when i had it. i wasn't crazy about it and since it was SUPER expensive... i never got another.

    I've never heard of/seen that before!!!!!! Cool! Sorta looks like a cross between a watermelon outside and a honeydew inside....?

    they are very nice when properly ripe. Sweet but not too sweet and they don't have fluffy flesh and they are very water rich (like all melon but without being grainy). I'm explaining that badly!

    I had half of another one for supper.

    Both of my dogs and my Siamese cat like them too :)

    Piel de Sapo is the name you might know them as. Shaped like a rugby ball, dark green with sort of rough veining on the outside of the skin.
