Hey, I have problems with foods because I suffer from heartburn and I don't know if it's an allergy or heartburn that is causing my chest/throat to hurt/feel weird when I eat certain foods so right now I'm going through a phase of eating only certain foods that I am sure that won't hurt me. I just wanted to say I understand about the food fears and allergy fears because when I read your blog I thought you have just described me perfectly. I have OCD, depression, probably candida too.

whining is okay!!! (and yep - it's detox!)... now when I was detoxing... my husband walked around holding his head... (he was afraid I'd bite his head off!!) teheeee!! So you see ... whining - not bad... drawing blood from innocent passerbys - not good

juicers are great. my fav mix is carrot, spinach and a bit of celery, with a wee bit of apple if i am in the mood for some sweetness.
I saw the JL Juicers on sale at Costco, amazing price. I was tempted to get one and compare to mine. Rawk On!

oh - btw - a drop or two of agave to your smoothie w sweeten that up a bit if you want... or mix in some carrot juice (very sweet!) and yes... we all go thru transitions... feelings of 'being left out' or deprivation do happen - but as time goes on - yu w realize WE are truly about freedom -- cuz we CHOOSE to be healthy - eat vibrant foods... and don't forget there are many wonderful raw dishes too -- like pizza, calzones, CHEESECAKE... yumm!!

sweetie, i read the first few sentences of your post and thought it was me talking! i dated my husband for 2 years, he from U.S. and me from canada. we are in the process of waiting for himt o do immigration papers. i almost went there, but takes too long so he's coming here. but, the opposite is that we are madly in love still :) i think it's totally brave of you to be writing this and coming to thsee conclusions. it's clear what your heart is telling you

I totally feel for you.My advice is,do whats best for you.If being married to your husband makes you feel miserable then do something about it.And the sooner the better.I can only speak from experience.I was married for 17 years and I wish I would've gotten divorced after 3 years. All those years were a waste of my life that I can never get back again.Don't let the same thing happen to you.Get out while you are still young and can start over.Do what you know is right.Good luck.

just b/c you had cooked for breakfast - does not mean the day is shot! ;) You can shoot for a raw lunch - or if not raw - a HEALTHY lunch, include a salad if you can! Having goals that are short term and very do'able can help in the long term scheme of things... make wise choices for one meal - then one more meal... and b4 you know it - you've done a whole day raw! Then start over again the next day! PLUS... beppa has some great ideas there too!
