Good observation about yourself. I am not into fasting either, at this point.

    Hi Sygma,

I am so with you, I think that the most important thing is to be as raw as possible. I too want to be able to fast and hopefully I will get there but for right now I need to chew (LOL).

I will check out the studies that you mentioned.

    Blessings.

I've tried to fast SO much too and I just can't do it. Somehow I think that it will happen eventually...the longer we are raw and all. I eventually want to intermittently fast because it activates a gene that fights disease/cancer and utilizes stem cells in the creation of new cell generation. Google it, the studies are awesome.

nice one Sj Your strawberry/mago combination sounds delish!
Do the green powder add a "green" taste to the smoothies?
    or are they tasteless.

    Hey
I know how you feel, but dont beat yourself up!
A few hot wings cant undo all the work the chlorophyll and good stuff in those green smoothies are doing to you!
Im starting a green smoothie fast myself,. if you want to join me,. let me know :)

I don't use a whole bunch of fresh greens in mine as I am also adding Spirulina, Liquid Chlorophll, Powdered Kelp and Ginsengroot. So I am getting all of my nutrients.

Thanks so much for the encouragement. How are your smoothies going?

You'll be okay....today I ate my weight in unsalted pretzels. :[ (and yes, I am screaming too).
We all have a hard time changing habits. Learn to forgive yourself and try to change just a little everyday. You are doing great and soon those wings will look disgusting. Keep trying.

I was making smoothies under the basic two fruits, two huge handfuls of greens. BLEH! Sometimes they were well blended but other times I was CHEWING my smoothie (I was even using a vitamix). I might try your combination....I like sweet smoothies. Thanks for the info!

    Thanks everyone.

Sygma, I make mine really sweet I use coconut water and sweet frozen fruit then all of those dried supplements. I also blend mine really well so that I can drink it through a straw. What type of smoothies are you trying to make. I know some members make a savory smoothie, that would never work for me, mine have to be cold and sweet for me to drink them.

    Hope this helps.

You're so inspiring. I wish I was an equally excellent smoothie chef (my smoothies suck, strangely enough).
