  1. vertigo

    too much salt triggers vertigo in me. it makes me retain too much fluid and leads to too much pressure in my ears. well i ate too much salt at dinner for sure and now im having horribly head "whooshes". ugh, but its okay, i usually eat a low sodium diet by default. i havent had vertigo seriously in a while so i hope easing up on the salt tomorrow will solve this.

  2. no more "laws"

    i think im learning a very important thing: to listen to my body. i have a penchant for trying to stick to generic diets/regimens/ways of viewing food that in reality don't quite fit me exactly. i buy and consume food always with the thought in mind of whether or not what im consuming is with "the plan." but now, i just want to lose all of that. i want to eat based on intuition, based on my gut feeling. how will this food make me feel as im eating it? after im done eating it? how will ...

  3. feeling great on day two

    im on my second day back to raw and i feel 50 times better. i eat whatever i want (so long as its raw and not too heavy on the calorie dense stuff) when i want. and my tummy digests it so easily. i feel great. my stomach hasnt felt this calm in months. :) no cramps, no tightness, no bloating.

    my new favorite thing is a banana nut smoothie. basically it consists of a banana, a spoonful of almond butter, some almond or coconut milk, cinnamon, flaxseed and fresh ginger. soo yummy. ...

    today a girl i know said that "im on a high horse" because i want to eat an all raw diet. that i think im better than everyone. i find that ridiculous. what is so wrong with wanting to do something good for myself? its my body. she thinks that by trying to be so "strict" im going to give up in a week and binge, that its not healthy and that your supposed to eat everything in moderation. thats stupid in my opinion. i like experimenting on myself, i dont want to be moderate. i ...
