  1. Best Salad Ever!!!


    Spouse just made me the hugest, most delicious salad ever! ALL raw...although I am not sure if balsamic vinegar is raw, but whatever. ...the heartiest, tastiest thing I've eaten in hmmmm....atleast a week...but felt like a year.

  2. The Eating Something Raw Everyday Experiment continues...

    I was down almost 7 pounds, but had a couple of heavy eating days and am now back up to the 5 pounds lost.

    I HAVE eaten some raw everyday though...and while I enjoy the food, there is some mental hurdle/process to get to the point where I decide that's what I'm going to eat.

    When I lie in bed every morning/night I still think about going all raw...but don't know that I will ever go totally, completely. What makes me think of it though, is healing. I know I need to actually ...

  3. Day 2 -of some raw everyday!

    Tonight I had a huge salad full of yumminess...it was ALL raw except for some daiya cheese shreds...and daiya might be raw, I'm not sure...probably not, but pretty clean all in all.
    The only disappointing part was that I had to use iceberg lettuce. I like iceberg, but usually blended with something heartier.

    I am still really considering signing up for Eva's 'jump start' program. it's $300 though...I am working now though, but only part time. I just feel like it would be really ...

  4. Swapping

    I have figured I have about 2 snacks and 2 meals a day..and if I stick to that, I do tend to slowly lose weight rather effortlessly.
    I am going to swap out one of the above for a raw meal or snack...well, today I actually did that. :) ...enough cutting other foods out and definately time to fold in foods instead. I am not going to make rules about which meal/snack it's going to be...I have been regularly having raw foods, so now it's time to make them a bit of a mainstay everyday.

  5. Calming Down ...keeping to the grind

    I was a little mad in my last post!
    I already know this, but going raw takes a clear head (focus) and organization (preparedness). Not being prepared totally sets oneself up for failure...even if bulldozing through, lol.

    I am not discouraged though....more quickly, I recognize the common obstacles...I saw that I was totally unprepared to go raw and did NOT beat myself up about it.

    I am still being mindful...and still making healthier choices more and ...
