Way to go! It's truly all about how you feel:O)
Good for you for adding more of the things that help you feel AOK:O) :O)

I agree with Jenifae! The roasted nuts taste fakey and weird. They don't match my memory of how they used to taste (true about so many foods!), and so it is easy to leave them alone now.

I used to love roasted nuts and now they taste weird too me. I can taste the chemicals, I guess. It's amazing to learn more about what exactly is RAW. I'm still learning. I got my 1st Vita-mix (gift-blush) It's the BOMB! Love it! Next, dehydrator.

It's okay. Now that you've admitted you have a problem, you can handle it. ;) I gave up bottled salad dressings years ago. Once you get good at making your own fresh dressing, you won't want to go back. Nuts might be a little harder to give up, but you can do it. :)

Good for you! I know I am not completely 100% yet and I am not ready to be (that sounded awkward ... hmmm, wonder what that is about). Anyway, I can relate as I do not have a dehydrator yet either!!! Big day for both of us!!! Enjoy it - it is one step forward.

keep it up, I am trying to be 100% raw but I think I am more like 95% raw since I have the occasional ezikiel bread, cooked quinoa and nama shayu sauce. I look forward to see what effects you will experience being 100% raw.

Have you thought of a juice feast? No bad breath with that type of f(e)asting. You might really enjoy it. Easy to juice enough to take with you for a day of school.

That is just excellent! I had a scary lump that they later called "thickening of the tissue." Sounds gross, but it was music to my ears! I agree with the celebration theory. Relief can make us as giddy as something like alcohol can!

That's GREAT news! I'm so happy everything is ok. You really have a lot going on in your life right now & I think you nailed it on the head with your approach to coping with it all - being good to yourself!~monk~

    Thanks everyone,
I think you hit that spot on, I don't feel stress at the time - just after it's over-and I've never noticed that. Thank you for the help!

Yoga, and just plain old meditation....

I'm so happy to hear that you're healthy!! What a relief that must be for you. During stressful times, perhaps you don't allow yourself to feel the emotions in an effort to get through it. Until the catalyst is removed, maybe you don't realize how stressed you until it's over. Once you're through the woods, you want comfort (foods). What kind of meditation do you do?

    Glad everything is ok!
As for your question- if it were me having cooked food after the stressors would be because I currently associate celebrations with cooked food. Does that make sense to you?
    Cheers!

So happy for you that it was nothing serious! I agree 100% that it's after the stress that we want comfort food. I think that during bad times we have to stay sharp and focused, but after it's over, our minds and bodies want that saturated, numb feeling to just take us over. Time to relax. Keep up the good attitude. :)
