  2. Here I go again

    I'm not sure what directed me to this website, but here I am. It was like some magical force pulled me in. I've been 100% SAD for the last 9 months and really bummed that I cannot seem to pull it together to go raw. I'm a total believer in raw and feel it is the medicine for a healthy, long life. I am convinced that it is the miracle remedy for all ills. I think raw is awesome. One question? Why can't I stick to it? Why am I avoiding it?

  3. October Challenge

    Gearing up for the 30 day challenge. I started out September with such success but ended up blowing raw over a bit of cheese and some hummus--both of which were not raw;( I thought I could roll with it, move on. No. I went down hill from there. I'd eat 100% raw one day, blow it the next.) So, here I am .... ready to try again.


    Plan: Drink a ton of water tomorrow. Clean out the fridge. Shop for plenty of raw. Soak nuts and seeds. Get ready, get set, go....

  4. Fell off, feel awful

    I have totally fallen off. I am eating cooked foods again and feel terrible. I have got to start the challenge over and be committed. Every bad thing I was feeling that started to go away is back. I think I have gained 3 pounds. What does it take for me to get the hint here?

    So.... I have got to do 100%. Just really having a hard time. I really don't understand why! I love raw food and feel so great when I am eating, losing weight and feeling calm, cool, collected.

  5. really rough night

    Did a family event and there was more food than you can imagine. I ate tons of veggies and salsa and was fine until they brought out all the sushi, pasta, bread, cheese and you name it! I managed to stay in control for the most part, but ate hummus that I believe was NOT raw. Before I knew it, I was eating cheese. Crap.

    Anyway, because I ate a ton of hummus and cheese, I will begin from scratch. I'll say I was 2 weeks raw and tomorrow I will start day 1 again. My 30 day challenge ...
