  1. Still hovering between 75-80% raw...

Not quite to my goal of 100%. I may have to reevaluate, due to time and budget contraints, and settle for 80-100% raw for awhile... until my job situation changes, which it is set to in three-four months time.

My regular "cheats" are non-raw milk with my raw oats, and occasionally cottage cheese and regular cheese.

Last night I threw a surprise party for Mark and ate a hamburger (oh, yuckyuckyuck - that was DUMB) and chips. It was my only "cheat" ...

  2. Did I ever mention that....

... my goal is to become 100% by June 30th?

Well, it is, and it's GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Because YESTERDAY, this girl was 90% RAW and LIVE FOOD - my only "cheat" was some cottage cheese with my potato and cucumbers for dinner.

And today, so far looking BETTER even!!!

I'm excited. Yesterday, I had two smoothies, some dried mangos and apricots, potato and cucumber, and then the cottage cheese.

  3. Raw Karaoke Star charms Billionaire...

Staying RAW except ONE BAD-TASTING "meal" of sad food last night at a bar with friends...

Going raw has awakened in me the old creative impulses that I have forgotten for so long (months, now... which for ME is sooooo long!

Last night, I sang at the bars for the second time this week for an audience, and the thrill of getting out there and leaving them breathless with My Heart Will Go On (Mark's song kept me "flying" all night...

  4. Day V - lookin' good, feelin' GREAT!

Breakfast today was a banana, lunch was live-culture yogurt with raw honey and raisins, and for mid-day snack, I just sat outside watching a warm breeze rustle through the trees and munching on watermelon balls.

Yesterday, I stayed 100% raw until dinner time, when Mark came home and, being a talented chef, whipped up a dish of alfredo and steamed shrimp. I ate about 3/4 c. of the shrimp alfredo, and afterwards went to bed thinking, "Was that worth it? Uhm... not really!" ...

  5. Time to take the dive!

My body is telling me it's ready to go 100% RAW.

After three days of easing back into the lifestyle, it's time to go for it! I stocked up on vegetables and fruit last night, got a bunch of nuts and raisins (a staple for me since I work several different jobs and I'm always on the go!) and got a few "treats" likes strawberries and a yummy raw bar.

Time to go, ladies and gentlemen! I feel a breakfast fruit-smoothie calling my name! ;)
