  1. YIKES! I can't believe I did that!

I just deleted what I thought to be a duplicate of my original entry for yesterday. The one I deleted was the one with all the comments written to me on my entry. I wanted to thank those of you who responded and tell you, StarFire, what a TIA stands for. A TIA is a Transient Ischemic Attack (arn't ya glad you asked, LOL)(when I first heard about them they were referred to as mini-strokes). A TIA is "a temporary loss of movement, sensation, speech or vision lasting a few seconds ...

  2. A Week Ago Today!

This is a significant day since it marks one week since I had a TIA in the afternoon, and spent the next 24 hours in the hospital. Before going to Church my hubby and I enjoyed a green smoothie. It was 2 cups fresh pineapple, 1 orange, 2 stalks celery and 2 cups packed spinach. Truely delicious. Also had some cherries and cantelope. When I got home I had a banana to hold me over 'til I got my chopped salad made. The salad was 1/2 yellow ...

  5. June 2 One More Great Day

So here we are--day 2 of June challenge. I started my day with a green smoothie of 2 peaches, 1 granny smith apple, 1 cup pineapple, 2 stalks celery, 3 cups packed spinach. This made about 7 cups of smoothie. My hubby (for the first time) and I shared the smoothie and both thought it was very good. I've also had one banana, and a handful of grapes this morning. I think I will have my usual chopped salad of 1 avacado and any other veges I have on hand for lunch. This is my favorite standby. ...
