yep - been there too!! having to be 'prepared' is a new thing for me. I'm new at this raw thing - and when I was eating SAD.. dh did most of the cooking and I grazed a lot on crap - crackers, chips, cheese... all the stuff I'm not eating now - lol! So I'm really trying to pay attention and BE PREPARED....

Been there! Sometimes I am so NOT prepared. Very bad. yep, you will enjoy the fajitas. I will also scrounge up the mashed potatoe recipe for you made from parsnips. The closest recipe I have stumbled on so far for that. Sounds like you did great today. Keep up the great work!

Corn chowder.Definitely try some. I also posted on my blog today the recipe for fajitas that is most amazing. When I got bored last fall I tried the pumpkin pie. Tossed pumkpin pieces into blender with some seasonings like pumpkin pie spices, some almond milk, a small bit of psyllium and then dehydrated overnight and then popped in fridge. Crustless. Was shocked at how good it was. The just like cheesecake recipe on the site is awesome , too. If your bored, try those. Most amazing.

(My episode lasted about 4 hours before I was feeling like myself again and my husband would agree that I was indeed back to myself.) "These TIA's are caused by temporary decreased blood flow to a specific region of the brain by a small blood clot or irregular heart rhythms." They use to be referred to as mini strokes when I first heard of them. With GOD's Grace it was only that. I feel unbelievably blessed. And, I'm feeling great again! Thank you All for your comments! :)

In answer to your question as to what TIA stands for, StarFire, it is a Transient Ischemic Attack. Now, isn't that clearer, LOL. Yikes these medical terms are something else! "A transient Ischemic Attack is a temporary loss of movement, sensation, speech or vision lasting a few seconds or minutes. A TIA will not last longer than 24 hours. Symptoms go away completely. A TIA is a warning sign that you could have a stroke."

WOW! YEAH FOR RAW! It sounds like you are doing great. I am starting to get a little more creative myself with food, trying to make "meals", and not just eating fruit. It makes things more exciting. I can't wait to make raw veggie burgers!

I'm so sorry to hear about your TIA... I didn't know what that was until I just looked it up! Eating healthier and incorporating more raw foods in your diet is obviously helping your blood pressure! I know eating a healthy vegetarian/vegan diet will also help with cholesterol issues as well, so I'll be praying that you'll be experiencing even more healing as you go along. It just makes so much sense to take care of our bodies the way God intended! Take care! Mary

Thank you so much for your nice comments, Kathy... it means a lot to me! We had a great message at church today that I felt really spoke to me about God being not passive but ACTIVE in our lives. I often forget that, with the many challenges in my life, and it was a good reminder. I really feel that I'm being blessed in ways I never expected! Thanks again! :)

Congratulations. I just posted my first blog ever here on this site today. After reading your blog I realized that I forgot to mention that I'm still eating store bought salad dressing too. I did notice yesterday that it tasted unusual though so maybe my tastes are changing a bit. Great blog and good luck.
