    Thanks for the words of support

    got off to a good start

    wheatgrass
    green smoothie - kale, spinach, pineapple
    lunch - green salad
    snacks - kale crisps (as they were being made) and onion bread, pumpkin seeds, raw crackers
    tea - salad

    Sounds good but ate too many crackers, and felt rough this morning. I need to learn to eat only when hungry and not pig out cos it tastes good!
    Watched programme about the Secret on Oprah ...

  2. 30 day challenge

    Well I've not blogged for ages. Things have been very up and down both at work and home. Work hours cut - same job, just less time in which to do it and same pay!!! how do they get away with it. Plus things haven't been too good on the home front - rows leading to feelings of inadequacy, lack of self worth, have really been put in my place by husb. Food has taken similar bashing, lots of raw but lots of cooked crap too.

    BUT

    I've decided I'm worth more than this, clearly ...

    Well it's been twelve days since I last posted. It's taken me that time to come to the realisation that I am sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I know what's making me sick and tired but I keep going there. That's the mystery. Maybe it's fear.
    BUT I woke up this morning and decided I HAVE AHD ENOUGH. No one else is going go make me feel better so I've got to do it myself for myself otherwise I'm wasting so much time feeling low, I'm wasting my life.

  4. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
    For the last 6 days I've been eating mostly raw, with very little cooked, and been really enjoying it. BUT when I stood on those dreaded scales woooooooah, nearly died! have put on 5 pounds - put on???????? I know I'm not eating this way to lose weight, I'm happy as I am - or as I was - but how can this have happened????????????????????????????????????????

    I must stop beating myself up about eating cooked, it's not as if I can un-eat it is it? What I have to do is think WHY I made the choice to eat cooked when I know it's not what's best for me.

    I know that moving from a cooked diet to a high or totally raw one takes a great deal of patience, courage, self-love, self-respect and so much more, and that beating myself up about eating cooked negates this self-love and self-respect.
