  1. Not Doing So Well

    My boyfriend and I broke up a few days ago after a 4 year relationship. Its just not really the best time to do the 30 days raw challenge but I do plan on resuming it in about a week. It gives me more motivation to get healthy. Its difficult to go through a break up when I have dietary restrictions and a feel sick so much of the time. But I can do this.   2. Day 7

    Ugh, things aren't going well. I think the really low fat aspect of the raw anti-candida diet is messing with my hormones. I'm very angry, breaking out and even though I'm skinny, I have all this fat around my midsection.
    I had to leave work today because I my anger got so bad that it turned into tears. My boss sent me home.
    Anyway, I've just got to push through and keep eating healthy because it will eventually balance out.

    Today I ate:
    1 apple
    1 Fruit ...

    Well, we all have those off days. Yesterday was that day for me. I ate way too many cooked foods, especially packaged foods.
    I ate
    Celery and Cabbage juice
    10 Strawberries
    Black beans, tomato sauce with raw veggies (1/2 raw soup)
    Corn and potato chips (at mom's, very tempting there!)
    rice crackers
    2 gluten-free cookies
    2 Annies vegan, gluten-free TV dinners
    1 BOX (holy crap) of gluten-free waffles

  5. Day 3

    Today I ate:

    8 oz Celery Juice
    1 fuji apple
    baby carrot sticks
    Salad with peppers, tomatoes and zucchini with Annie's honey mustard
    1 package of brown rice crackers (brown rice, safflower oil, salt)

    Tonight I pan to make a big 1/2 raw, 1/2 cooked gluten free, low-fat meal!
    This is going well and its only getting easier as the weather gets nicer.
