  1. Day 5 - eating the rainbow...

    Today is going really well so far. I've already had 3 glasses of water, plus the water I used for my green breakfast smoothie (grapes, banana, strawberries, pineapple, spinach). about 8 oz in water, making about 16 oz smoothie (actually made more, but shared it w/ daughter).

    My son lost his first tooth today, so that was exciting!

  2. Day 4 - A little bit tougher...

    Well, today was ok. I was busy, running all over town w/ my friend (who eats SAD) and I didn't bring enough food or any water w/ me. (not smart) This had me craving a quick stop at Sonic for a Diet Coke and some onion rings... I RESISTED... So I am a bit dehydrated (and consequently bloated) and have a slight headache. I did avoid the temptations of the mall - they're less tempting to me than they were a month ago, that's for sure...

  3. Day 3 - starting to feel it...

    This morning I woke up about 30 seconds before my alarm went off at 6:45. I felt rested and ready to start the day. That NEVER happens to me - in fact, I sometimes don't even hear the alarm for a minute or two. I actually have the clock in my living room b/c I have turned it off while still sleeping! My husband, on the other hand, hops out of bed at 5 AM to hit the gym...

    Hi everyone!

    I'm new here - my name is Tina and I'm a 32 year old mother/homemaker and Yoga Instructor. I have 2 kids and a husband of 9 years. My husband and I began eating a plant based diet in January of this year and in March, learned of the Living Food Diet (RAW). I have been raw on and off for about a month and he has been almost 100% raw for about 2 weeks. He's lost about 20 pounds since giving up meat - 12 of which have been since going raw!
