  1. To wine or not to wine

    Today:

    breakfast/lunch: Frozen grapes

    snack: raw almonds, cashews and raisins.

    dinner: salad with avo, bell pep, onion, olive oil and balsamic.

    Lotsa water! yay.

    Want a glass of white organic wine...hmmm.... probably will. Just not sure. So hard to give up cooked foods, coffee and wine all in the same day... Not sure what to do.

    Such wonderful advice coming in! Thank you, thank you, thank you.... Just had a handful of frozen grapes. So refreshsing on a warm, Spring day. Drinking water and getting excited about doing what I need to do for myself. Gonna take it one day at a time!

  3. What the heck is wrong with me!

    I am attempting to partake in the 30 day challenge (again). I can't seem to get past week 1 without failing and eating cooked.

    I'm having some health issues and I have no choice but to beat them with raw
    foods. I don't understand why I make it a week and sabbotage everything for something I know will make me feel awful. I have to start blogging everyday, communicating with raw folks and getting the support I need.

    I'm terribly desperate after a day of cooked ...

  4. Morning of Day 3

    Beginning day 3!

    I woke up this morning feeling really refreshed. I stayed up too late, but still seem to have energy. I'm going to try to drink a ton of water as my skin is feeling very dry. Will dine on mangos this morning--craving them.

    I photo copied Alissa's soaking chart to assist me in soaking my almonds, walnuts and cashews. I'm thinking about growing sprouts for my salads as the store bought ones are very expensive. Chick peas are high on the list as I will ...

  5. End of Day 2

    Day 2.

    I am still trying to figure this website out! I am so behind the times with all this blogging stuff...

    Okay, so today wasn't too tough. Ate mellon for breakfast, avocados for lunch, nuts for snack and a huge salad for dinner. I think my water intake could be much improved...

    Need to begin experimenting with recipes from Alissa's book. I'm totally intimidated by the dehydrator, sprouting process, juicing, etc. Just gotta get in there and start messing ...
