  1. Hmph.

Well, diligent as I was, I did not make it through the June challenge. I was high raw for most of the month, 100% for part of the month. It was the family reunion we had last weekend that kicked me in the butt. I know I had a choice as to whether to eat the cooked food. There is always choice. I made the choice to eat it, so now I am going to jump back on and make the choice to get back on the raw wagon for the month of july!

I started taking Tae Kwon Do last Wednesday. It ...

  2. JUNE!

I was mostly raw in May, despite every intention to stay 100%. BUT I am not beating myself up about it. I am jumping into every new day with a new attitude. So, today is the second day of June and here I am three days all raw. And a big fat smile on my face. Last night my body was tired, so I went to bed same time as I always do (10 p.m.) and I slept until 8 a.m. which is odd for me because I am usually an early riser (yes earlier than 8 a.m.) BUT I woke up feeling soooo good.

  3. Ummmm, I have a confession.

I had/have been doing pretty good, considering this is my first solid attempt at going raw. BUT, the other day I broke down and I ate two bagels and went out for chinese food where I had rice and potatoes. I am trying not to be disspointed in myself but at the same time I feel like I am floundering and struggling. I know, I know, I am new. Does anyone else who is new to this world feel that way? I am sure their must be. Anyway, I am getting back on track and yesterday had an all fruit day ...

  4. (singingly) I have energy!

I am getting so much ENERGY! I am very happy about this because over the weekend I was feeling so gross that I slept from 8:30 p.m. until 7:30 a.m the next morning. my sinuses are slowly clearing up, and I have pretty much gotten over the attack on my healthy looking skin from Saturday afternoon. It is so great to have all this energy and it really helps when we take the kids outside because I don't feel like I just want to go to sleep now when I get back. I just had to share my excitement. ...

  5. Snot nose!

Let me just start off by saying how glad I am that it is Saturday today. I love the weekend! I am detoxing still and have been sleeping a lot, drinking a lot of water and just hoping that it all ends soon so I can feel a little better. Right now my head sort of feels like it is buzzing because if the detox. You know how you feel when you get "sick" and you are all congested and achy like. That's exactly the feeling in my head right now.

I have to be honest about something ...
