1 quart of fresh apple juice should do the trick. I go at least once if not twice a day when raw. Im drinking alot of juice.

make sure you drink plenty of water or juices.

Be sure you eat enough - can't come out if it never went in!

On raw you shouldn't have any problem with constipation if you are eating enough because of the fibre in the food.

Is there anything to pass that is actually refusing to come?

Hey, go for it! Those memories of feeling better when on raw is exactly what made me come back!

They say an apple a day ______ . Imagine what a couple of servings of fresh fruit and veggies can do. Welcome and you can do it. Just take one day at a time do not end it today.

I think now is the perfect time to get back to raw, the new year brings about increased opportunity for change...... best of luck! :)

Yes, it's quite easy to become a junk food vegan.. I have been there as well! Like you, I find I feel more energetic and have a happier outlook when I eat all raw. So, welcome back!

oh... and btw... that's not a silly question... heck -- I never knew WHAT a fp was when I first became raw.... I thought it was a blender just shaped differently.... we're all learning! SO RAWk on!

unfortunatley - I do not have a blender - so I do everything in my fp. Some stuff comes out rather 'grainy' but hey - its what i got to work with -- it still tastes great -- but it may not be as smooth as silk... ! Someday I will own a Vitamix... sigh... someday!!

the fp (food processor) can be used to throw chunks of veggies, nuts whatevers into it and the fp will chop it all up, it will also mix things like nut pate's etc... but it will not make things super smoooth like a blender or a vitamix will. Blenders are great for smoothies, to make sauces, even to make the filling for cheezeCake smooth and silky (which a fp cannot do).

I couldn't afford a food processor, but I found a mid-range (power & price) blender made by Osterizer that has a food processor attachment. It's great for chopping up veges, but not good for processing any liquids as it leaks out. I get by pretty well with that and an expensive nut grinder.

I also make my dips in the blender - for the smoother textures. The rich cheddar sauce is wonderful - you can do a search with the banana at the top of the screen.

Hi, I think the easiest thing to do would be a google search for both, so you can actually see what they look like. The food processor can do different things like slicing & shredding - as well as some mixing - however my food processor doesn't mix things as smoothly as my blender does. You would use a blender to make smoothies - that you couldn't do in the food processor. Hope that helps a little!

Don't be hard on yourself. And, realize that you can only control you and other people. Take one day at a time and don't look too much into tomorrow.

I am about 34 days raw. I am currenly on Oxygen. I have lost 26lbs and can go a short distance without my oxygen within one and a half weeks.

Every week I have about 2 cups of Vegan collards greens. This is not good. But, I want them and I eat them and maybe the day will come and I won't purchase them from my favorite vegan restaurant.

RAWK ON!! It scares me sometimes to think "if I feel like this at 35, what the heck am I going to feel like at 50?!?!?" We CAN do this!!

YES. It is absolutely possible to ~turn back the clock~ with how you FEEL! I haven't felt this good (no aches, no pains unless it's from a workout, sleeping good, calm, content) since I was in my teens and early 20's. Keep going! :)

I felt much the same as you did throughout my 30's. Tired, blah. But let me tell you I feel now as good as I did when I was 12!!! So hang in there - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - you are on the right path & are so worth the effort!

I totally know where you are coming from. I'm 33 years old.. and yet I have been feeling progressively like an old lady. Aches, pains, etc, etc. I finally said "enough" and I'm cleaning up my diet. Let me say that I have less pains now. My sinuses no longer hurt, that aweful pain in my neck (vertebra was out of place) is gone. I haven't gained any energy yet, and I've only lost 13 lbs... but it will come. Just takes time to undo 33 years worth of damage. Good luck to you on your journey!
