    Okay, Its been like forever since I have blogged anything. I think I was just taking some me time....away from, well, the computer. LoL These last couple months have been emotional. Since my Mother-in-law died, things have been kinda rough. But I am slowly getting back to "normal"...ha!..what is normal anyway? ;) Sooo, I have been about 70% raw since my last "raw challenge". I have been doing this weird mental thing lately...thinking that if I wasnt completely 100% Raw..then ...

  2. Back in thee ol' saddle again!

    Tryin' once again!

    Well, here I am again. Looking forward to trying the 30 day raw challenge again. A couple of months ago I took the challenge and ended up only lasting 2 weeks.....so as to not think of myself as a failure...I have happily told myself that I completed....my "2 week raw challenge" LoL.

    I was soo thrilled to be able to complete 2 weeks with nothing but beautiful raw living foods....it was amazing. However, I ran into some trip ups along ...

  3. Ugh....fell off the raw wagon

    Ugh....

    Okay,soooo I fell off the raw wagon. {{sigh}} I managed to go raw for 2 week though! Which I am very proud of. Alissa's book and dvd helped tons....but I think where I was getting stuck, was that I didnt have a dehydrator. Which made things kinda difficult. However, last Sunday I just ordered my very own lovely Excaliber dehydrator! YEA! I am hopin' it will arrive soon. I cant wait.

    I have already started eating more raw meals in the meantime...but I hope ...

  4. 2nd day :)

    For some reason, today was mentally hard for me. I know it is only my second day, and I have done the raw thing before, but today I had to remind myself to take it one day at a time, and even one meal at a time.

    I started having nervous thoughts about what to eat or what I cant eat. I was really tired today, due to some family stress, monthly hormones etc.... So I wanted to just grab some s.a.d. food and run to work.....but I didnt. LoL. I told myself I didnt need to eat cooked ...

  5. My first day.

    Soo today was the first day on the 30 day raw challenge. I had absolutely no problem with eating raw today. Felt great. :)

    First day:

    Breakfast: Blueberry, banana, orange smoothie
    Lunch: Salad with tomato and Mock Salmon Pate. Yum
    Snack: Dehydrated mangos and pineapple
    Dinner:Portabello mushroom stuffed with pate' and topped with tomatoes.
    Snack: Leftover salad and mock salmon pate' with an avocado.

    Just quickly jottin' down ...
