  1. Yum.

:) Raw has been all about the yum for me lately! lol. The raw candy...omg I have died and gone to heaven! No one else in my family likes it (I think its the maca they don't liek though I don't notice the flavor) so its all for meeeee! I have been experimenting with different raw recipes, marinating various veggies (eggplant marinated is divine!) and have been letting the kids be more involved in the food prep...which makes them want to eat it more, lol. They are LOVING strawberry 'ice cream' ...

  2. Oy.

Oy. I am sicker than I have been in a loooong time. I guess I am due, lol. I did a 10 green smoothie feast, followed by pretty darn near 100% raw so I am sure i am doing some detoxing. I have a birthday party for my eldest son saturday so I am willing myself better before then. Lots of GS, juices, and salt baths as my glands are SO swollen I cannot get anything else down. Lots of greens up in my garden so I have fresh GS!

Hitting the local Farmer's MArkets for the first time later ...

  3. Wow...long time...

Almost a year since my last post! So much ahs happened in my life. I have been in varying stages of raw over the months, mostly due to stress, moving, etc. I am probably 90% raw now, with plans to stay that way! 100% is great but I can't be that anal with 3 kids and still live my life. There are days I am, and days I am not.

We are living somewhere now that is much more in line with who I am as we moved from what I felt was the 'city' to the middle of the woods. We have a big yard ...

I really should have been keeping up on my journal. So, lets see:

I have maintained my weight loss which has been fantastic. I have been doing mostly green smoothies, and eating veggies, nuts, seeds, lara bars (on the run) to supplement. My green smoothies are usually spinach, kale or swiss chard with whatever fruit I can find- mangos, cherries, blueberries, peaches, bananas...Mmmmm :) The bulk of my diet is green smoothies and I have to say I haven't felt this good in a long time. ...

  5. Been a while...

Yes, so its been a while. I've been probably 80% raw, give or take. Can't seem to give up my coffee and I've been doing kefir every day. I have to say that I definitely feel better with this way of eating. I have been doing lots of salads, plain fruit, some nuts or seeds here and there...pretty basic. Haven't made anything dehydrated in a while and its been ok. I do need to reassess where I am at as I am feeling the need to do 'something' to go to the next level of health. The Lyme Disease still ...
