Growing up, we fasted for religious reasons (once a year) and I always came off the fast slowly with a small glass of citrus juice. Then I would have a small meal about an hour later - something bland like toast (hmmm, not raw but you get the idea). after that I would eat some protein and then basically have a normal next meal. Again, this was way before raw, so my protein was meat or eggs, but you can use nuts or maybe a green smoothie... Good luck, hope you feel better.

Every body is different, so some people have an easier time than others, it also may be the time in an individual life as well, I sure as heck couldn't have done this a year ago, so don't beat yourself up, the universe is unfolding as it should! thanks for your comment as well, so funny you're little too, you're not also 31 and named meredith are you? lol

Keep going! Just think that every day you eat raw you are giving your body what it needs to overcome the health issues as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Go you!

Raw twin, you can do it, it will get better! Make sure you take a probiotic if you decide to go the antibiotic route...i'm sure you know this. my first thought is, what if your body, now raw, is trying to rebuild itself. i think all these enzymes, vitamins and minerals i am now consuming are making love to my cells and MAN are they having a good time!! it's a great visualization!!

I hope you are able to stay raw!!! Can you make green smoothies? Seems like that would be easy to digest?

How do you eat your lentil sprouts? Do you just eat them plain?

i understand how you feel, after all i've been through with judgements about the raw diet, then being "attacked" all i can say is that it's part of our healing and learning process. at least we are aware, thank the universe we have found our truth!! i'm really low energy today too, day 8...

Why thank you for your kind words. They help especially today when I am suffering in detox hell.

Regarding the avocado, I have had a lot of success chopping up avocado and freezing it in smaller individual servings. If you have a Vita-Mix, I think a frozen avocado should not be a problem. Or maybe you could move a portion from the freezer to the fridge the night before. That is what I do now to thaw it up for the next day sometimes. Hope this helps.

I so admire your organization. That is a recipe for success. I’ll be interested to hear your experience with the Zepter Vacsy products. I’ve been wondering if there is a way to keep a cut avocado from turning brown over a period of two or three days if I wanted to add just ¼ to a green smoothie every day.
