I am still adjusting to raw lifestyle and have been doing really well. I have a question to all of you out there who have been on this raw journey for a while. When do you know when to stop eating? I know it sounds silly but I find its different with raw. With SAD I would stop eating when I would not be able to breath anymore lol..How do you judge when you had enough?

Much love

Maybe for now just eating raw is change enough for you and you should not try to change anything else so just stop when you can not breath anymore. Your body will adjust in time and you will learn to listen to it a bit better. The main thing now is to find a way to stay raw long enough for your body to see it as the natural state and learn to thrust you again.

That's really true - it's often hard to get full on raw food

Not true in the least. IF people eating SAD don't stop when they are full, why do you think eating raw is different? Thing I've found is, when starting to eat raw, at first, my body is craving the nutrients. After a time, it's feeling nutrient satisfied and I tend to eat wayyyy less.

Funny, I get SO full on raw food and I'm hoping to gain weight, so I'm a little worried about this. Make recipes that call for almonds...they are really rich and will fill ya right up. :)

I would just stop when the food no longer interests you. When I started raw, the first week or two I ate soooooo much. After that I began to eat waaaay less. I think most people report this too on this forum.

keep it simple.....stop eating when you are not hungry anymore....we must find our truth with food and ask if we are truly still hungry or eating for other reasons

some people eat because the food is good, or there is plenty of food on their plate...or maybe one can say they ate light yesterday, so why not eat a little more today....there are so many reasons to keep eating....

one true reason to stop eating....when you are not hungry anymore....this is more possible on raw....difficult on SAD....
