can I dehydrate in oven????

Hello.....I am new to raw and was wonderling if anyone has used their oven to dehydrate. My oven has a warm setting and have seen mention of using the oven in some raw cook books. I have very limited funds and cannot buy a dehydrator right now and would love to make some of the dishes (like Alissa enchiladas). I do have a dehydrator that I received as wedding gift.....the $20 kind from Walmart....does not do too good of a job. Took 3 days to do bananas and they were terrible.
