50 raw days under my belt. Wowza, it feels good!

Just thought I'd say...it CAN be done. Even for those who have to keep starting again and again like I did for so long, it really CAN be done!

And it's true. The cravings honestly do get less and less. Most days are easy for me now. As long as I remember "Not one bite of cooked food"

Not one bite.

Here's to the next 50 :)

Congratulations! My cravings went away almost immediately and I never crave cooked foods. I wish I had discovered this years ago, but they say things happen when you're ready for them, so I guess I was ready in 2006! I wish you continued success!

Congratulations!! That's quite an achievement! I just read 12 steps to raw and I agree-NOT ONE BITE. But it does get easier each day, doesn't it? :D

good for you!!!!!!!!! that is so awesome. and sooo inspirational. i, like you, have tried to start and be consistent for quite some time. i don't look at it as failing. i'm just transitioning more slowly. i am getting more knowledgable as time goes on and i know i'll make it. i don't wanna say this is the time, cause that's putting so much pressure on myself. but, well, i feel cofident. lol. i don't know what i'm saying. i guess i'm saying that this time i am doing it for health and beauty and all that jazz. so it's for real. :) congrats!!!!

That is awsome and such an inspiration. I kept thinking of what you said about 'not one bite' of cooked food several times on the way home tonight. I so wanted the easy dinner it was silly. Of course how long did it take me to make dinner when I got home, about five minutes. That's less time than I owuld have spent waiting in line at the drive thru! I swear we are programed to think of that food as fast when it really isn't!
