View Full Version : Easiest, yummiest recipe
02-15-2006, 09:48 AM
I made this up yesterday and it hit the spot that I had it for breakfast and dinner!
I haven't seen it before, so if it's someone's recipe, please let me know!! :)
I'm going to make this for breakfast again as soon as I can and I'll post a picture of it when I do.
Take an apple, banana, walnuts (or your nut of choice) chop it all up in a bowl, add honey or agave and sprinkle cinnamon on it.
It hit the spot and my 3 (almost 4) year old loved it.

vegggeeemom: is this it? http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6237&page=2&pp=25&highlight=Rawpriestess post # 46 ? it was Walkin on Water that posted it?
would you post yours if it's different? Joz

Oh, no. It's not the one Walkin posted.
I got the idea from her though.
I will post a picture of mine as soon as I can.
It's apples, bananas, walnuts, honey and cinnamon all mixed up.

Here's the picture of it. I'm sure someone has done this, just it was new to me and I can't get enough! LOL Sorry it's not a better presentation, but I wanted to hurry and eat it! :)
Here's another picture of it on a plate..

Awesome: Looks like a granola. I'm gonna make it this way.
I always presented it as Walkin on Water did and I don't want to eat it as it gets messed up! the things we do do EAT?
and the bananas and cashews have such a mild combination. Yum Joz

WOW! That sure does look good!! I can use some of that loving pretty looking good food in me!! Thank you very much for sharing vegggeeemom! And no need to apologize for the lack of presentation. It is already calling out to me! Imagine if you had presented it in a 'better' way.... you would then have to come down all the way here and 'apologize' to me in person :p

Oh darn, no bananas. I will be getting some today. I have had a really acidy belly the past two mornings when I woke up, but I think it is because I have "snitched" some sad foods, but this looks so appetizing!!!!
This looks SO good and I am VERY glad you posted your picture. I am definetely going to be making this today!

This is SOOOO good! I just got finished eating it and now I want more! I mean it looks good... but dang girl! That tops all my lame-o fruit salads! Man! I think i'm going to have to make another one! I don't know what I'd do w/o you! I'd probably starve! Or just graze on grapes and nuts all my life! LOL! Great presentation... both make me hungry!

I am sitting here eating this now.... Oh, it is the best thing. I added a teenie tiny dash of cardamom to mine and it perked up the spice a bit. I have a feeling I will be eating this A LOT during this next 30-day challenge!
Pam..... keep making up good ideas. Between you and SamuelWilson I just have tons of great food ideas! You are such an inspiration, Pam!

I did mine but I added some raisins to it.
