Let me just start by saying that I'm really not trying to be simple minded, just get clarification.

I read the post by Catherinethegreat and thought it was very good. But now I'm wondering if we have to wait 1 hour after eating an apple (for ex.) before we can take in any h20. I'm trying like heck to up the amount of water I'm drinking but if I have to wait 1.5 hours between foods then....

As it is I'm more of a graizer... so I'd have real troubles with water consumption under these principles.

My understanding is that the same rules do not apply to raw foods as to cooked foods. I think that this is because the reason not to drink is so that the digestive acids are not diluted as they need to be strong to digest the SAD stuff especially the meat.
Besides that it only takes 20 minutes for an apple to have gone through so at the worst case you can drink after that time.

I'll add to what Sport shared.

I believe that if you already have existing digestive problems, you may not be as fortunate to consume water as immediately as someone whose digestive abilities are at optimal levels.

PLease correct me if I am wrong! :)
