there is something like a rash that started on my chin in a small area now its covering all of my chin and moving up and outward over the last almost 2 weeks. i wont be able to get to the dr for another week or more. the last 3 days ive been washing it with honey and put cocnut oil on it when its dry. i dont know what to do and it seems like its trying to take over my whole face!... I have a little acne to begin with but this is more like a rash. my mom wants me to take a benedryl pill but i dont want to and theres other medication creams she told me to try a test spot on a little area to see what happens... any input here? thanks.

What % are you raw? 95 or 100 can make a big difference of how your body works. It could be detox or a food sensativities (can come on randomly). Does it happen more or less after certain foods? I would say no to any pills becuase this most likely IS detox and you'll stop that process with antibiotics or creams. I'm usre others have more to say. Feel Better!

some people have "rashes" and other strange skin issues when they go through some sort of detox, but it could also be from something external. ???

to help balance the ph of your skin, you could apply a mild solution of apple cider vinegar in water, dabbed on the areas in question...and see if that helps. One example of a mild ACV/water solution could be something like, I dunno, one teaspoon in 1 to 2 ounces of water - whatever your skin can tolerate. I've used apple cider vinegar for strange rash-like areas in the past, and it worked when nothing else did...could be worth a try.

other than that, I'd probably use lavendar neat on my skin, which has also done wonders.

but, those are just two ideas :)

I am going through the same thing right now though it is on my hands. I've always had mild problems with my hands, reactions to dish soap and latex, makes washing dishes a pain in the tail! I noticed that lately the rash is getting so much worse. I have one finger that looks like raw hamburger and my other hand, which is normally fine, is getting some too. It is slowly getting better, I'm staying away from hot water, which irritates it. Too much moisterizer seems to irritate it too so I'm only putting some on at night before I go to bed, badgers hand salve which has nothing chemically in it.

Avalon Organics makes a line of face products that are based on Lavender. I have very sensative skin and that is one the of the few products that I can use. Maybe that would help you some?
