Ouch, this is day seven, and I'm in pain. I finally broke down and took some feverfew this afternoon, nothing, nada, still in pain. Help meeeee!

Hi Broken,

You could try rubbing some Lavendar essential oil on your temples and put two drops on your pillow when you go to sleep at night.

Hope this helps,

Pansy :)

Hopefully it will pass soon. Probably just detox.

Broken, don't know how unhappy you'll be with this info. There are basically two causes of headache; a toxic system or injury. If you have not been in an accident or in any other way injured yourself at the beginning of the headaches, then the problem is toxins. The quickest way to get rid of these is an enema. Plain water is best. For something that has lasted this long you may need more than one. Twice a day is plenty. Also drinking very warm water with lemon juice in it will help flush the liver. Eating while you have this problem will only make it worse. Hope it gets better quick.

Ahhhh.....detox headache. I know that one well!

As Doe said, an enema works wonders.I have had a headache go away within minutes! Also, moist heat applied to your head and sinus tract....like those beanbags you heat in the microwave. Rest, water, skin brushing, saunad, hot tubs....

Hope you feel better soon.
Warmly~

I'll print and keep your suggestions. I have a feeling that won't be the last one I'll have. Headaches (migraines) and me are like avocados and greens, we just go together. This one was the most persistent and painful one I've had in a long time.

Hopefully after I've done this a while I'll say good-bye to headaches forever. :)

Ah, the "beanbags" that sweetgoddess recommended are fabulous! I make them and use a high quality essential oil in them and they are FABULOUS. I still do have a microwave since the rest of my family is SAD, but you can heat them in an oven too if you keep a VERY close eye on it and "fluff" it every few minutes. I used one almost all day yesterday that was infused with Lavender oil. I rotated it between my belly and my head. Sooo comforting!

I have read that being dehydrated can cause headaches.

Dehydration does cause headaches. I'm the fluid queen, though always drinking water. I think maybe it was a full moon last night and it was my monthly PMS headache? I was missing (well, not really missing, but I didn't have) all the other symptoms so I didn't even put it together.

I just started being raw last Saturday and I had a terrible headache on Saturday and Sunday. I'm on day 5 right now and I'm soaring.

I have a question,

I have rarely ever gotten headaches. I have been 7 weeks raw Friday and have had frequent headaches although they are not very bad. I was wondering if they are detox headaches, what is going on that I am getting them. Does anyone know how detoxing gives you a headache?
