So far my signs of detox have been an irritated upper throat, not the typical 'sore throat', it feels different. Lots of mucus production, and I do mean lots *lol* and lots and lots and lots of bowel movements. I've never done this many in a day ever. I have always drank alot of water, some days I'm having a BM every time I pee! Also my energy has been a touch erratic. I'm feeling really good most of the day, but when I'm ready for bed I'm ready _now_. I'm used to winding down, not doing this dramatic crash. It's been intresting.

be extra good to yourself during this time. Drink extra water to flush out those toxins and I highly recommend giving yourself a nice whole body massage. You can even put the oil in your hair and massage your scalp. THis is an Ayurvedic practice-daily sesame oil massage. Also put on some nice music and do all the stretches you know how to do unless you have a yoga video, take deep breathes during each pose. Pamper thyself!

Thank you everyone for your ideas. The walking has helped when the pain is unbearable. I am going to try the massage and bath. I do feel a little better now than I did this morning. Wow! I don't want to have to go thru that again. At night I would just flip and flop around in bed trying to deal with the pain. I think this is from the sugar and caffeine, Will it get worse when the other junk leaves my body?

I've had similiar experiences to yours. I hope someone can answer the "does it get worse?" question. However, I think it really depends what you have in there to get detoxed. Depends on pre RAW lifestyle.
I chimed in here to say Yah! You said POP! I"m originally from the Midwest and just moved back to the East coast. If I slip and say Pop all the "soda" people tease me. If I'm back in the Midwest and say "soda" I get harassed! It was just nice to have a bit of "home" to hear you say POP. I, too, had to struggle to get off "carbonated beverages"~hard to give them up. But the craving for those is gone. Only crave some sugary treats once inawhile....
Hang in there! You're gonna feel great!
