I did my first dehydrator recipie today and decided to keep it simple by doing the flax seed crackers first. I did one change in that I didn't use Teflex sheeting, I won't use teflon by personal preference, and used my mesh sheets instead. It worked out just fine and I didn't have to flip the crackers. They aren't pretty squares, but they taste just fine!

Thanks!
And yeah it is fun. I was having problems with getting them thin and remembered a post recently about how to make pretty crackers. Someone said that they use their hands, but keep them wet with water to keep the flax from sticking. I used a spatula, but I kept a cup of water nearby as the flax was sticking to the spatula. Dip in water, no more sticking. Maybe that will help? I was able to get them very thin with the spatula.
