What are people's favorite raw food cookbooks?
I love Alissa's book. It's honestly my favorite.
I also like Juliano's book.
Does anyone know of a raw food cookbook with the word "Rainbow" in its title?

There are quite a few older threads covering this topic; you can search

Rowan, three I'd think about adding are
Raw Food Real World - Matthew Kenney and Sarma Melngailis
Raw - Charlie Trotter and Roxanne Klein
Living Cuisine - Renee Loux Underkoffler.

I heard "How We All Went Raw" is a very good book. I have Victoria Boutenko's 12 Steps to Raw, Shazzie's books, Juliano's "Raw", and Tonya Zavasta's books. I like the recipes in all books I have but Alissa and Shazzie's are my favorites.

I got the Rainbow Green Live-food Cuisine book as my first raw book. I got it because when I browsed thru it looked like there was information on going raw as well as the recipies. Well there is, but it is _very_ scientific and goes into Phase I foods and Phase II foods etc. I still havn't managed to read the non-cookbook part of it yet. I'm sure there is _alot_ of good information in there and the recipies look tasty. Alissa's book is just a much easier read and what a large section on recipies. It is so worth it. I also have The Raw Truth, it is again an easier read than the Rainbow Green one and has both diet info and recipies. Really good charts with sprouting times and dehydrating times. Also a big section of the different types of food out there. I didn't realise how many fruits that were out there. Wow!

I love Alissa's book and have used that quite a bit, but I also love The Raw Food Detox Diet book by Natalia Rose. The recipes are good and easy. She does have some cooked recipes in there for people who are transitioning. I also have Raw Food Real World and Rainbow Green Live food Cuisine which are good. Two that I have that weren't mentioned are Raw Foods for Busy People (Jordan Maerin) and Raw Food Made Easy (Jennifer Cornbleet). Both are these have great recipes that are (as they say in the title) EASY! I have used Alissa's far above the others but I like the ones I have. I checked quite a few out of the library before I actually bought the ones I liked the most. :D
I love Alissa's book and Jennifer Cornbleet's book which i've just bought. Another favourite is the first one I bought first, which helped me get into raw foods. It's by a UK Raw Food writer, Kate Woods, and is called Eat Smart, Eat Raw. Like the other two, it's full of easy, (realistic!) recipes that taste great. I love her carrot hummus and rye crackers, amongst others.

I just received Raw Food Real world & I love it also. I think I would rank that right behind Alissa's.
I have made the taco shells, tart sour cram, cashew hummus, ( all came out great) & I am making Summer Rolls tomorrow night. this book is loaded w/great photos also. :)

You must try the cranberry grawnola - takes a bit of work so double or triple the recipe. It LASTS FOREVER in the fridge/freezer! Kids love it too.
