View Full Version : Sprinkle Pink Sea Salt on you avocados!

I decided to have an avocado and opened it, pitted it and sprinkled some pink sea salt on both halves and ate it out of the skin. It tastes really good. It has the salty taste and at the same time it makes the remaining avocado taste sweeter.
Thought you might like to try this,

Uuhhh....forget what I said about the salt on the avacodo...I just discovered that I got a tummy ache from eating it (20 minutes later).........I don't feel so good.... I think there was an undesireable chemical reaction. Eat at your own risk. Sorry.

I usually get a tummy ache from eating a whole avocado unaccompanied - I think it's just too much fat or something, as eating half or less never bothers me. If I eat it with something else (in a salad, or with some kind of bread or cracker), I don't have a problem either, which is why I think it's just the high fat content. Don't know if anyone else has similar experiences? Something to think about anyway.

I like nama shoyu on mine. Or braggs, but nama shoyu tastes just so much better.
