Does anyone have a good recipe for bread? I have tried numerous ones in different raw recipe books but they all have turned out gross

I just made Juliano's recipe for 'real toast.' I am pretty pickie, and I LOVE this! I wouldn't share Alissa's recipes, but I will share his :D Sorry Juliano...

1/2 cup sprouted black-eyed peas
2 1/2 cups of sprouted wheat berries
1 cup ground spelt
1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
1 cup chopped fresh herbs (I used cilantro)
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 tablespoon of cayanne
1/2 teaspoon of jalapeno
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped garlic (I used 1 tablespoon granualated garlic)
1 cup flax seeds

In a food processor combine all the ingredients EXCEPT for 1/2 cup of the wheat berries and the flax seeds. After that is nice and smooth (mine was a liquidy dough) blend in by hand the remaining ingredients-

Place on teflex about 1/4 inch thick and dehydrate for 8 to 10 hours. Cut into toast squares, or if you have a round dehydrator, I just dropped the dough into circles and made circle toast. I think i yielded 18 pieces total and they last for a month according to Juliano...

Mine was a little crisper than it was supposed to be. But still wonderful! Looks like a lot of work, but really it was easy and tastey!

Thank you. I'll give it a try. May have to just stick with the Flax Crackers (which I love!). I do have Alissa's book. Which bread recipe did you try and love?

I haven't tried any of Alissa's breads yet... I did make her enchilada crust which is better than bread... and her pizza crust is great too!
