I found this site very helpful in understanding the effects or affects of body Ph and what foods belong to which side. I discovered that the more I understand the effects of certain types of foods on the body and it's ph, I then understood the affect on it. It makes the decision making easier when choosing foods. I think you will enjoy the list they provide ,to breakdown between alkaline and acidic.

Interesting that they say, "sprouted grains are more alkaline. Grains chewed well become more alkaline."

I made a list of everthing that I ate and realized "no wonder I have a stomach ache." I ate raw tahini with carob powder, blueberries and walnuts. Not many blueberries but the tahini/carob, YES. I thought the combo would be alright since it was "RAW" but didn't realized the alk/acid affects-effects.

It was interesting reading and I hope you find it helpful. I 'd love to hear about your experience too.

** I was surprised that cucumber was slightly alkaline--I thought alkaline forming.

better days ahead,

Thankyou so much for these sights....very interesting. I agree with you some foods you'd just naturally assume are more alkaline...like cucumbers! I was suprised by lemons...because citrus is so acidic...yet when metabolized becomes alkaline. Good to know:)
