Day 31!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I've completed the thirty day challenge!!!! It has been really nice how my body has reacted to being RAW. I like it a lot. And my looks have changed quite a bit. In all I lost 12 pounds since going 100% raw. I did have a couple slip ups this past week, but not major ones, and not enough to get me way off track. I feel GREAT, and plan to keep going... I've been thinking about doing a juice fast. Maybe today's a good day to start that. No, wait, I have a lot of watermelon and cantaloupe in my fridge to eat first. I think I'll start a juice fast this weekend, like Friday or Saturday. I don't think it'll be very hard (I know, I'm saying that NOW, just wait...). I'm already eating mostly fruit, and having green smoothies too (two or three a day). We'll see how it goes this weekend, I'll keep you posted. I know you'll be on the edge of your seats!!!!!
YAHOOO!!! I'm proud of how I've done this past month. I wish I'd lost more weight, but I think my working out for an hour a day, six days a week, has factored into that, since I'm building muscle as well (and we all know muscle weighs more than fat). My body fat % has gone down 3%, that's promising!
Okay, time to make my morning smoothie.
YEAH ME!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Peace and CONGRATS!!
Wonderful accomplishment.. Never mind the slip ups. Those are just more opportunities for you to RAISE yourself back up. Only making you stronger.
It always makes me feel good to see people stride for this lifestyle and go through all the bumps and bruises along the way to still come out successful. I'm sure each one of us former SAD eaters can directly relate. It's a beautiful thing.
It'll only get better and better and better from here. Your body, how you look, how you feel.. It only gets better!
Congratulations again!

YEAH!! That is so wonderful! A friend and I have been trying to stay raw since Dec. 1st...we made it more than 2 months, but this month has been hard. The reason why I'm telling you this is....keep yourself on track. Don't let go of that good feeling!! I've been struggling with nasty food addictions....but today is a new day, and I'll start again. Best of luck to you....and follow Alissa's advice...throw your scale away. If your journey is about GREAT health, and you are feeling good, then why does the scale even matter?? Take a good look in the mirror....don't you look great?!! Smile and take these wonderful changes, and know you are worth it!

Thanks so much all of you. I know, Alissa says to through out the scale. But, I can't seem to. I don't weigh myself much, like once a week. But, it also measures my fat% and my water%, which are good things to keep an eye on.
I'm eating banana papaya pudding as I type...YUMMMMY.
I went to Sam's Club to look at the produce, since another post mentioned they have organic produce. But all I found that SAID organic was the baby carrots. I did buy some neat apples though. Called Grapples. The package says "looks like an apple, tastes like a grape". I can smell the grape smell through the package. They smell like grape candy. I'm going to try one later.
Thanks again for the nice words. You all help me stay on track so much. :D

I just read the package for these "grapples" more closely (mentioned in above message). They have artificial flavoring?!!!!!! I was thinking they were just cross-bread to have a grape taste. But they are artificially flavored. BUMMER. Who would want artificially flavored fruit?! It just ruins the whole point! I think I'm going to take them back to Sam's tomorrow.

Yeah I saw those in the store a few weeks ago. Talk about too weird. I mean, fruit is natures sweet, why mess around with it? Grapples, ugh!
