Hi,
I need help...again...
10 days 100% raw. My sleep continues, bad...after a whole week of nightmares, these past 2 days i“ve been waking every two hours... :(

Anyway...these past two days i“ve had really bad wollen glands in my throat, i only start feeling them before going to bed, they seem like they are going to choke me, and it“s really painfull to swallow. Actually i didn“t even feel like having dinner yesterday, and today it“s already 12.30 and i haven“t had anything besides water.

Does anyone know if this is a detox syntom... and of any raw food that would ease the pain, that i could take before bedtime..

You poor thing! That sounds awful.

Yes, it does sound like typical detox symptoms, even though I haven't been through that myself.

I would like to suggest a few things to you. If you want to, you can try them. I can't guarantee that they will work. Here's a list:

This is an old remedy for people with infections, wounds and it is good for the liver too. If you juice half a glas, or a glas, you will get a huge kick of healthy stuff. Be careful and sit still afterwards, though, and stretch out so your tummy and intestines can work. A lot of cabbage can give gas, but on raw, I haven't experienced it. (If you can't juice it, try adding a little to a salad.) You can juice it with some carrots, that are also very healthy.

Garlic is also good if you have inflammation somewhere in or on the body.

Herbal tea can also be soothing. I know that licorice tea is good, and the old well known remedies of chamomile tea and (raw) honey for example. Depending on your taste buds and what you feel like.

That's all I can think of right now. My very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I will definately try the cabbage, actually i will try just about anything as long as it“s raw.
I“ll let you know if it works.

i dont know if it will work for you but when i have swollen glands and throat i usually have grapefruit and orange juice. it helps me, but we are all different. hope you get well really soon anyway. At least you know by being raw that you are giving your body the best food it can have.

The thing is i“m in portugal and, i don“t know why, grapefruits are really hard to get by especially organic :( But i will eat whole oranges as soon as my hunger begins to creep in. For now i only feel like drinking water and ginger tea with raw honey.
I am definately manifesting HEALTH...so go ahead DETOX do your thing quickly so i can go back to my natural state. :)

I suddenly remembered, that a woman who posted to help me in the past, she mentioned raw beet root juice. She said that beet root had helped her son, when he had a fever. Her ID is "brightest blessings".

Ginger tea sounds good too. And the citrus fruits must be good with all the vitamin C. Most people benefit from vitamin C, especially when sick, so that sounds like good advice.
