Purl,
Glad to know they were a hit :D .
I have yet to try them, being that my husband has become addicted to pancakes, maybe this will be an alternative for us both to savor. :-)

They look soooooooooooooo good! Glad they are as good as they look! One day when I get a dehydrator I will try them out!

Keep an eye on your dehydrating time as I ended up with banana crackers instead of crepes! (My fault, not the recipe). Banana crackers were yummy, could be used in other ways and rehydrateable if you worked at it. Enjoy!

Best,

I tried making these but found probably a common problem. I dehydrated too long and couldn't seem to roll them up! About how long should they be dehydrated for? And could you use any other options rather than just banana?

The length of time depends on a lot of things ~ the temperature at which you dehydrate, the type of dehydrator you have, the thickness of the spread and even, potentially where you live. For me, I set a timer and that reminds me to go and check on them every once-in-a-while.

You can blend the bananas with various other fruits ~ peaches, strawberries, blueberries ~ whatever your heart desires. That's what's great about raw ~ you've got FREEDOM!!!! :D

I MUST try this. I've never been a breakfast food person. I'm the type to have dinner for breakfast and lunch for dinner etc... going to grab the book off the shelf and make an ingredient list... maybe for tomorrow??? mmmm...

I overdried fruit crepes once, so I just dunked each one in water, stuck them back in the dehydrator for an hour or so and the humidity created caused them to get soft all the way through again and easy to roll.

NEAT trick!... That will come in use as I'm always over-dehydrating!
