One Year Raw!

Peace to all,

What a journey, thus far.. But i've made it. I had a lot more to celebrate yesterday than just watching the Super Bowl. I treated myself with some raw recipes i created (i posted the pictures in the recipe section), and it was just fantastic. I'm extremely proud of myself for being able to have the discipline to accomplish this.
I also want to personally thank all of you on this board who have helped assist me in every way, shape, and form. Too many names to start listing. Basically, any and everyone who has responded to and answered many of my questions and have been there for support. This is a beautiful board with beautiful minds and beautiful people. There's no way I would have learned nearly as much as i have about being raw and the entire lifestyle associated with it without the existence of this wonderful board.
I sincerely thank you all.

Much thanks for all the kind words.. It really gives me a gratifying feeling beyond what you all can imagine, to see how many positive vibes and positive energy springs out from this board. The English language doesn't provide enough words for me to describe the feeling i have right now about the support and the encouragement that comes straight from every one of you.

To respond to you Walkin'onWater. As far as some of the health benefits coming directly from being raw this long. hmmmm.. I'm gonna have to go off the top of my head for this one, because the list is too long and perhaps won't end. lol. Seriously. Well, to start off, one thing i've noticed is how much quicker my body heals itself. For instance, i may get a small cut on my arm, or better than that some acne on my face (which has always been a problem for me). Now my face is still far from perfect, but it's in the right direction and is improving. Whenever i used to get pimples or other marks on my face, they would often stay there for a few days, grow, and then leave a dark ugly mark on my face that would last for a month+. But now, i may get an annoying pimple, and it'll only last for that one day before it begins to go down and just become a non factor. Same thing with other bumps and bruises on my skin. It almost seems mystical how quickly they just go away now; but of course it's not mystical. It's just the fact that raw food provides the necessary nutrients in the most useable form possible for our bodies, and thus, when you see it working u KNOW what it is and you can explain why it's doing what it's' doing.

Another benefit is my overall control; Mentally and physically. I have soo much energy through the day, and i'm in soo much more control over my Self. My sleeping is a lot better (of course, when i get the hours i'm supposd to get, lol)

As far as dealing with others. I'm so much more at Peace with my self and with others, and am a lot better at respecting nature and all wildlife on this planet. I'm a lot more conscious of the everflowing energy flowing through the Universe and as a result of eating food DIRECTLY FROM the Universe and from Nature, i'm a lot more IN TUNE with the Universe as a result.

Uhh.. There's a WHOLE lot more benefits that i can't think of at the moment. But i'll list some important ones as they come to me..
