I have added more fat to my diet in the last few days, in the form of avacado, a few nuts, and flax seed oil. My digestion has slowed and I am wondering how to keep the digestion going properly but get the fat that I need also. Before I added the flax seed oil and the avacado, my source of fat was bananas and an occasional Lara Bar. (Can't stand nutbutters, ick!) Any tips? Have I added too much fat? Reccommend a juice?

I notice if you eat raw but don't make sure you get enough water. Some people drink say a ful gallaon of water is good per day I personally agree. when I make sure that I drink one gallon a water a day I tend to go right after each raw meal. our bodies loose so much moisture and water each day it isnt funny, through breathing and talking and peeing and persiration. We really need water not only as a thrist quencher but as a bathroom number 2 helper :D

I hope it helped

that's a problem for me too. here is how i handle it - i try to make my meal that is heaviest with fat (which for me is still not a ton of fat) the last of the day. that way i have all of the evening hours to digest it and then sleeping time for everything to move through. my other meals throughout the day are a lot lighter so they digest and move through quickly!

I have heard that you should take your weight and devide it in half and thats how many ounces of water you need to drink each day. Lets just say that you weight 160 pound, devided inhalf that is 80 . so you should drink 80 Ounces of water a day.

What exactly is slow digestion? Is it the number of hours it takes you to eliminate what you've eaten? I wonder if I would qualify as having a slow or fast or "normal") digestion. And what is the problem with slow digestion? Is it a heavy feeling?
