Since I do not have a raw cookbook yet, I'm depending on ya'll to help me out here. (I did order Alissa's cookbook today ... Finally!!! ... Yeeha!!)

When a recipe calls for soaking nuts or seeds, am I supposed to drain them before adding to the recipe or do I add the nut juice / seed juice into the recipe???

Thanks!

hey you,

from what i understand, the soaking is to put the moisture back into the nyts or dried ffruit. i have never heard of using the water that it is soaking in. enjoy!

glad to be home,
linda

I toss the water and rinse off the nuts.

Oops, I threw the soak water out, but didn't rinse the nuts. Oh well. The "cheese" for the lasagna came out great. The marinara sauce did too. Tomorrow, I'll assemble the whole thing. My mushrooms are marinating. :D I'll let you know tomorrow how the it turns out.

Linda ... LOL... yes! I did get my VS jeans! Unfortunately, I had to return them for a size smaller because by the time they got here - they were too big!! So, I'm waiting on them AGAIN! IN the meantime, I had to take in all of my Tommy jeans about an inch on each side but can't seem to get my sewing machine to go through the waistband to put in darts. I feel like a teenager with droopy drawers ... but at least they're NOT hanging down below my butt! LMAO!!! :D I really need to post a "3 months raw" picture. It's just been so crazy with the holidays and visitors and all.

Thanks for asking! ;)

I can't wait to see how the Lasagna turns out. I'd save some for you and even ship it, but by the time it reached Washington ... hmmmm..... I'm not sure it would be all that good ... and it's would probably be kinda messy.

I also made Blueberry Truffles and Mint Carob balls last night. My food processor was panting! LOL.

Redo my whole wardrobe?! Nah. I love Victoria's Secret clothes and it is exciting to get new stuff every now and then,;) but I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal. Besides, I'd rather spend money on a motorcycle any day than clothes! Vroooom!!!

4 days till Christmas! :D

Good morning Victoria (perfect name for you !),

No way, I doubt you are on a "Harley" cruising in a pair of jeans and a t shirt. Sure........"your not buying jeans, your buying 7" stilettos and a pair of hot pink suede pants with that matching jacket !!!!" <<<WINK>>>.

I'm hoping to get Alissa's book by next month. Is the truffle in the book? Gosh, pleeeez tell me how it turned out. I think a friend of mine may get me a blender for xmas this year.

4 days til xmas?
linda :p
