Coconut Butter or oil...

Since I've had ARTISANA'S RAW COCONUT BUTTER AND IT IS EXQUISITE (but the inconvenient to get), I HAVE NOT TRIED ANY BRAND OF raw (virgin) COCONUT OIL (much more commonly available). So does anybody know is there a big difference between the two...

To my knowledge, they are the same thing but the liquid (oil) state is only at temps above 76 degrees.

Yes, coconut butter and coocnut oil are the same thing. It will depend on the temperature at which you store it whether it will be liquid or solid.
