Maybe I'm the only odd crayon in the box, but I have to ask anyway. Do you enjoy detox? No matter how crappy it makes me feel or the pain it causes, a part of me is excited and loving that my body is purging itself of all the bad toxins. It's the same for me when I USED to get sore after working out and that soreness felt SO good to me. I actually miss it haha. Oh well, I was just curious...

dreamrawalz,
oohhhh The pain, love it. I love it when I get sick....Everytime I get body aches or flu-like, I think, "Oh, maybe I'm detoxing" And I get this kind of excitement about it. I look forward to it.

i know what you mean. the satisfaction lies in the knowledge that my body is ridding itself of poisons.
the EMOTIONAL pain, however, i do not relish. in fact, it feels unbearable at times - the intensity of it. you've helped me to see it in a new light though. maybe just as the physical sickness is a detox of toxins the tears and inexplicable pain is a release of emotional toxins. thanks for that change in perspective.

hehe, I got excited when I got my first headache while on raw (presumably from caffeine withdrawl...).

well
it puts a new perspective
one the words
not feeling well
in that
i know it's not really the flu, or a disease or a virus or a cancer, ect.
so i feel better faster
if i weren't aware of detox
the likelyhood of my detox symptoms lasting longer
would be doubled because of the negative mind set.
i know that detox IS NOT another word for sickness
and that makes all the difference.
cheers.

I've been doing this work for quite some time and getting people to understand the difference between detox and being sick (it's ALL detox) would be frustrating ~ if I were attached.
One of the things I learned quite some time ago is ~ Celebrate whatsoever. Everything that happens to us ~ every challenge, is a lesson to be learned and one of those is that our bodies are made to heal, given the right nutrients and environment. What can de-generate can re-generate (up to a point of course).
So yes, to answer the OP, I don't necessarily enjoy the detox itself yet, I acknowledge and celebrate that my body is doing what it's been designed to do.
