Today when I went shopping I saw this very strange looking thing amongst the vegetables... but I couldn't find a name for it and I haven't been able to find it on the internet. Anyone recognize it? They were between 15-20 cm long.

I believe it's a kind of bitter melon. I don't care for them, but then again, I don't like bitter food! It's supposed to be a blood purifier and good for the kidneys. I've only had it cooked, so I have no clue what it would taste like raw.
It looks like a mouse or a mole with tiny warts all over :D :D :D

It comes across as somewhat like a cucumber--during harvest season here there is a bumpy like round squash like veggie here that i don't know the name of. It not long like that but round. green too......hmmmmm

Yeah! I never have either, for some reason they had 5 in the big grocery store today! Maybe 'cause they look like Christmas trees!
