Im new to the site and seem to be having difficulty posting threads, photos and journals- I dont knwo if this is even going to the right section-if anyone wnats to help--- and am just wondering if this is working now-
well, aloha- thanks for this site and I also just found the greenchefs.tv site and am so inspired to get started. Today is my first day of raw.
For breakfast I had warm soup made by my loving friend who is also starting raw
(warmed from boiled water beforehand)
cauliflower, tomato, bell pepper and avocado blended with ginger and curry powder garnished with a circle of plum tomato halves on top
For snack
a papaya halved with lime juice on top and fresh passionfruit in each papya half( after eating a teaspoonful of the seeds for digestion (to help with the cooked food i ate on my last day of an old way)
For lunch
mmm...more soup
For snack
Crystal Manna bar from healthfood store (sprouted nuts, seeds and spirulina)
and a whole bag of dehydrated mango
FOr dinner
a salad with kale, spinach avocado and arugula with lime cilantro dressing with pinenuts, tahini, flax oil ginger, raw honey and zesty with some papaya seeds I set in fridge from this beautiful morning's papaya
After dinner snack, a thick slice of avo with salt and a side of goji berries

Farts came late evening during mr and mrs smith
Emotions-my emotions were in good spirits today
Val ( who is on her 3rd day raw) was extremely sensitive to irritating blonde raw-wannabes
She was very depressed for a spell before and was given to much sleep- now she has more energy
She is losing weight, feel s great- minus the farts
and she was yawning all day
From an objective perspective, I am noticing her eyes are looking dark and sunken- any ideas?
I want ot make sure we get enough nutrients

Welcome ! Aloha, I am assuming you are in Hawaii ? I just returned from 10 days in Maui, there is a large raw community in kapalua and Piau and a few raw restaurants on Muai as well. if your on the big island i'm surethere is an even larger community ?

Good luck to you and do watch the ingredients on those bars, very few other the Lara & think organic are truly raw.
