View Full Version : Alissa's Burger Buns Question

I'm making Alissa's burger buns for the first time today. In her recipe, Alissa calls for "3/4 cup soaked flax seeds". My question is: Are the seeds measured after soaking, which would be 3/4 cup of the gelatinous mass, or is this to be measured as "3/4 cup dry flax seeds, soaked", in which case it will be about 1 1/2 cups after soaking. There is a signifcant difference in the volume of these two measures.

Any experienced burger bun people around that could help?

don't they just sound heavenly?

you measure the seeds before soaking.
